Someone that I admire

If some one asks, 'Who do you admire?' I would answer Girls Generation. Girls Generation is the most famous dance group in Korea. They have total 9 members in the group and they are all female. They start was not very good. They debuted in 2007 and the reactions from people were not so positive. The girls were all young and did not sing very well. However, overcoming the slump, they released album after album. I once saw a documentary about their daily life and saw they are doing the best to be recognized by people. They practiced whole day and were not given any free time to do social life. I could see that they are hard working. Every album they released was a great hit. Gee is one of the popular song from Girls Generation. The latest album 'I got a boy' was also a great hit too. They had an opportunity to have their debut in America through a song called 'The Boys'. They are now a great pop star world wide. Their song has ranked number one in Japan Oricon chart too. However, the start was not very good. They have worked very hard to achieve the title they have now. I admire them because they achieved what they want through effort. It looked impossible at first, but through endeavoring work, they finally have earned the things they have greatly wished.

TV program review

Running Man
Running Man is one the most famous TV program in Korea. It is aired every sunday at 6:10 pm. The genious idea of the story captures people's attention. There are always the main story that leads the program. So one time, the story was about famous Korean warrior Yi Sun Shin. The Running Man members searched for the turtle sword and plus their mission was to take the name tag off from other people. So the one who are left at the end, is the winner. They also give great prize to the winner. Gold, Korean beef, and other expensive prize were presented to the winner. So the players do their best to win the game. The players in Running Man are the popular Korean stars. Emcee Yoo Jae Suck leads the program. He is very clever, entertaining, and energetic. This is one reason why Running Man is so famous. They have such a good emcee.
The thrilling tension and liveness from the game attracts people to fall into Running Man. I especially like tv srars changing every week. We can conclude that tv stars who appear in Running Man are the ones who are rolling these days. It will be a great miss if I do not see Running Man on sunday. If you want to feel the tension and the great enjoyment, watch Running Man this sunday at 6:10 pm!

The Cantata

Today my school had an unusual chaple! We had church music major to play cantata for Jesus' ressurection. I waited for that the whole morning. They had an orchestra and group of singers. They sang about the life of Jesus and the glory of his resurrection. They started quite imposigly. I liked the sound of percussion. During the play the speaker read lyrics and they were touching. I think that music has a great power to move one's heart. In the end, the singers reached very high note. Wow, I could not stop the overwhelming feeling that was growing inside me. I was very excited at the fact that Jesus is risen. The cantata gave pleasant impression on me. It was a time to think back again at the work of Jesus and the fact that he is God's son. Jesus is risen from the dead.

My travel blog

Last summer I went to a country in Southeast Asia. Have you heard of Cambodia? Just by hearing the name, I thought it would be a country in Africa. But, no it is in Southeast Asia, between Vietnam and Thailand. My family is there so I went there to meet my parents. They are staying in the capital city of Cambodia called Phnom Penh. However since I was there, we travelled to country side of Cambodia. On the way, I took some pictures of Cambodia sky. Aren't the clouds are amazing?

The destination where we were going was called Kep. It is a beautiful island and a vacation spot for resting. We put our luggage in  resort and first enjoyed swimming. The resort we stayed had everything. There was Sauna, swimming pool, tree house, terrace and beautiful walking road. My brothers and I changed in to swimming suit and jumped in to the cool water. In the middle of hot summer there is nothing better than cool water.

We loved the time. After swimming we went to eat delicious seafood. I liked food using shrimp. I do not know how it's called but it was delicious. For dessert we had coconut shake.

 After dinner we came back to our resort and we prepared to go to sauna. The hot steam room relaxed our mind and body. The peppermint and lemongrass scent gave sensational feeling. Then I went to a deep sleep.

The next day, we went up to the mountain that was just behind our resort. My dad drived the car and we enjoyed the view. Wow, the view was tremendously amazing!

The forest, trees, ocean, and many different kinds of colorful fruits were fascinating.

It's called passion fruit. It is very sweet and sour.

I took lots of picture on the way. I tried Durian. Do you know durian? It's known for its great smell. At first, I could not eat this fruit, but I became to like it now.

If you go to Cambodia you should definitely try it!

I recommend people who are reading my blog to go to Kep in Cambodia.

It was an unforgettable trip!

I am an university student in Chongshin University, Korea. I was very intersted at your mission. I have read the goal and informations from the website. I believe that if a person is in university, he or she has to experience serving in other countries. As I was searching for the organizations, I found your team and it catched my attention. I read that you help people who are not part of the world to participate and teach them to be the citizens of the world. That's such a great work! I hope to be part of your team.
I have two questions to ask. Are there seminar or workshops before going out to other nations? If yes, when is it? Another question is that, what kind of results have you seen so far?

One intersting I did this week!

One interesting that I did this week was going to LG contest exhibit presentation. Some seniors and I are currently working on university contest exhibit that's holding in LG. We have our goal. That is getting in to the top ten and going to Europe. To prepare well, we first need to see the presentation of previous contestants who actually won the contest and went to abroad. So, my team went to Choong Ang University and saw presentations. It was very interesting and it motivated me to work hard on my theme. The presentators talked about some funny stories they had while preparing for the contest and gave great informations that would be very useful to us. At the end they received some questions. My team did not lose the chance and asked 3 questions. I think of all the people who asked, we said the most. So they gave us free books about the challenge. I enjoyed being there. It made me feel like I am a college student. Now I am going to do my best in school work and also the challenge.
